25 Days To Go!

I can't believe it is nearly that time of year again with only 25 days to go until our annual King's Daughters Conference. This year is especially important, not only because we really need to get together as Christian woman but also because we do need to talk about this very important subject that we will be discussing, namely purity but mostly sex.

How to enjoy it, what to do better, what not to do, when to do it, when not to do it, what went wrong in the past, how to fix what went wrong in the past, the scars of the past and healing for them. How it's intended for pleasure , how to enjoy the pleasure without the guilt and shame, what to do if you got it wrong too often and find it no longer offers pleasure. Same sex attraction, opposite sex attraction, lack of sexual attraction and lethal attraction! Sex in marriage, sex outside of marriage, no sex in marriage Lies about sex, truth about sex, love and sex, lust and sex, hate and sex, sex traps, sex deception, sexual exploitation and much more. Oh yes, we will also be talking about other things too not only sex. But mostly, we will be talking about sex this year.  In the meantime enjoy reading about the 5 stages of sex.

In addition to our talks we will also be having some fantastic musical and dance items, heavenly worship, great food, business stalls, Zumba and so much more!

Group booking discounts of 20% are available for groups of 10 or more using promo code '20' when you book in.  Make sure you get your ticket soon at www.kingsdaughtersconference.co.uk

King's Daughters Conference and Iraq Christian Persecution

""Christianity in Mosul is dead, and a Christian holocaust is in our midst," said Mark Arabo, a Californian businessman and Chaldean-American leader. In an interview with CNN's Jonathan Mann, he called what's happening in Iraq a "Christian genocide" and said "children are being beheaded, mothers are being raped and killed, and fathers are being hung." "Right now, three thousand Christians are in Iraq fleeing to neighboring cities," he told Mann. Arabo is calling on the international community to follow France's lead and offer the Christians of Iraq asylum. "You're startling me with the severity of what you're describing," the CNN host said. "You said they are --- beheading children?" "They are systematically beheading children," Arabo repeated slowly. "And mothers and fathers. The world hasn't seen an evil like this for generations.""  >>> Read full article

But what can we do?

This is always the question we ask as we are far away, safe and secure in our country.  It is easy to feel sorry for the persecuted church and do little about it.  But there is a lot we can do.  We can remember them in our prayers and in our everyday, ordinary lives.

Take action NOW:

1. PRAY.  Don't underestimate the power of prayer - it does work and will make a difference.

"So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists." - Acts 12: 5-7

If you are not sure how to pray then here are some useful pointers.

2. GIVE. Be generous with your time and money. We can give from a place of comfort and excess so let's do so.  Bring their plight into our everyday ordinary lives. Yes, life goes on for us, but we can keep them with us but giving.

" And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people. And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us. So we urged Titus, just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part. But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you —see that you also excel in this grace of giving."  - 2 Corinthians 8:1-7

King's Daughters Conference

My current focus is our upcoming conference so I have decided to use my marketing efforts in a way that will benefit this cause. I hope you will join me.  Many are changing their profile picture to the arabic 'N' symbol to show support.  King's Daughters would like to go one step further and propose that you change your profile picture to the one in this post or tag yourself on the one on our Facebook page and make it your profile picture.  This will achieve two things - 1) It will show King's Daughers Conference are supporting this cause cause and 2) for every ن Delegate ticket or ن Business Stand that is purchased, we will donate 10% to  Open Doors to help the persecuted Christians in Iraq.

Please support us in this and also find ways that you can support the persecuted Christians through your everyday life too.
